Pinnock interviews

A collection of interviews with prominent South African figures carried out by Don Pinnock whilst working at Grahamstown University. These interviews were conducted between 1987 and 1993, and are held by the UWC/Robben Island Mayibuye Archives.

Our latest interview is a previously unheard recording of a public meeting with Mandela, Joe Slovo, Shawn and Robyn Slovo among others, marking the tenth anniversary of Ruth's murder in 1992. Listen to the first ten minutes to hear Mandela's moving eulogy to Ruth.
